Madelyn Kent
Madelyn Kent is a writer, playwright, director, and teacher interested in the relationship between the body and the creative process. Her background in theater, dance, and somatic practices led her to develop Sense Writing, a body-based approach to creativity that brings together writing, movement, and sensation.
Since 2012, she has taught Sense Writing to more than 1,000 students in over 10 countries, and since 2018, has led a 12-week online Sense Writing course twice a year. She is a Feldenkrais Practitioner and former faculty member of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
